According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2003:

  1. California: 5,000
  2. Texas: 2,000
  3. Florida: 1,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2003:

  1. New York: -1,600
  2. Massachusetts: -1,500
  3. New Jersey: -800
