According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2004:

  1. Florida: 4,300
  2. Texas: 2,700
  3. Arizona: 2,200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2004:

  1. New York: -1,100
  2. Pennsylvania: -1,000
  3. Ohio: -900
