According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2005:

  1. California: 3,300
  2. Texas: 2,200
  3. Arizona: 1,700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2005:

  1. Missouri: -400
  2. Alabama: -300
  3. Maine: -200
