According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2005:

  1. Florida: 3,000
  2. Alabama: 2,700
  3. Georgia: 2,700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2005:

  1. New Jersey: -2,000
  2. Virginia: -1,900
  3. Massachusetts: -1,700
