According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2005:

  1. Florida: 1,200
  2. Arizona: 1,100
  3. California: 900

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2005:

  1. New York: -7,100
  2. Louisiana: -5,400
  3. Pennsylvania: -3,900
