According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2006:

  1. Texas: 3,900
  2. Florida: 3,500
  3. New York: 3,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2006:

  1. Michigan: -300
  2. Delaware: -200
  3. Maine: -100
