According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2006:

  1. Georgia: 1,800
  2. Florida: 1,300
  3. Arizona: 1,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2006:

  1. California: -4,800
  2. Michigan: -1,600
  3. Missouri: -1,300
