According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2007:

  1. Alaska: 200
  2. Mississippi: 200
  3. Oklahoma: 200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2007:

  1. California: -3,700
  2. New York: -2,600
  3. Arizona: -2,300
