According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2008:

  1. North Carolina: 1,200
  2. Kansas: 400
  3. Delaware: 300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2008:

  1. California: -6,600
  2. Florida: -5,700
  3. New York: -2,400
