According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2008:

  1. North Carolina: 700
  2. Connecticut: 600
  3. New Jersey: 400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2008:

  1. California: -1,700
  2. Georgia: -1,000
