According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2009:

  1. Kansas: 700
  2. Minnesota: 300
  3. Alaska: 200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2009:

  1. California: -6,300
  2. Florida: -4,200
  3. Illinois: -1,800
