According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2010:

  1. Florida: 1,400
  2. California: 1,000
  3. New York: 800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2010:

  1. Massachusetts: -700
  2. Maryland: -600
  3. Ohio: -500
