According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2011:

  1. Georgia: 2,800
  2. New York: 1,900
  3. Florida: 1,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2011:

  1. California: -1,900
  2. Michigan: -500
  3. Louisiana: -500
