According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2012:

  1. New York: 4,900
  2. California: 3,900
  3. Florida: 2,500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2012:

  1. Missouri: -400
  2. Georgia: -300
  3. District of Columbia: -100
