According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2006:

  1. Texas: 20,100
  2. Pennsylvania: 12,700
  3. Florida: 12,400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2006:

  1. Connecticut: -1,400
