According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2008:

  1. Michigan: 25,300
  2. Minnesota: 11,100
  3. New York: 10,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2008:

  1. Florida: -3,100
  2. Georgia: -2,700
  3. Kentucky: -2,000
