According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2010:

  1. Florida: 1,500
  2. Alaska: 1,200
  3. North Dakota: 500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2010:

  1. Maryland: -10,100
  2. California: -7,900
  3. New York: -7,500
