According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2010:

  1. California: 14,900
  2. Michigan: 12,600
  3. Illinois: 11,700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2010:

  1. Mississippi: -300
  2. Georgia: -300
  3. Hawaii: -100
