According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2011:

  1. California: 16,500
  2. Michigan: 14,300
  3. New York: 13,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2011:

  1. Arkansas: -200
  2. Louisiana: -100
  3. Delaware: -100
