According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2012:

  1. California: 27,000
  2. New York: 14,200
  3. Illinois: 12,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2012:

  1. Mississippi: -300
  2. District of Columbia: 200
  3. Delaware: 200
