According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2013:

  1. New York: 18,600
  2. Ohio: 12,800
  3. Illinois: 8,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2013:

  1. Arkansas: -700
  2. District of Columbia: -200
  3. Georgia: -100
