According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2015:

  1. California: 32,000
  2. Alaska: 9,200
  3. New York: 7,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2015:

  1. Michigan: -3,500
  2. Kentucky: -1,700
  3. Ohio: -1,000
