According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2019:

  1. California: 11,900
  2. Florida: 8,200
  3. Michigan: 5,500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2019:

  1. Iowa: -2,900
  2. Massachusetts: -2,000
  3. New Jersey: -1,600
