According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2020:

  1. Illinois: 3,100
  2. Iowa: 2,700
  3. Missouri: 2,600

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2020:

  1. California: -18,600
  2. Florida: -3,500
  3. Louisiana: -2,000
