According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2022:
- California: 5,900
- Michigan: 5,500
- Arizona: 1,600
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2022:
- Alaska: -4,300
- Ohio: -2,400
- Iowa: -1,700
