According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2015:
- New York: 31,100
- Ohio: 21,500
- California: 19,800
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2015:
- District of Columbia: 600
- Delaware: 700
- Kentucky: 1,200
