According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2015:
- District of Columbia: 13,500
- Florida: -1,900
- Delaware: -2,100
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2015:
- California: -166,500
- North Carolina: -78,200
- Missouri: -43,700
