According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2022:

  1. California: 25,800
  2. North Carolina: 10,200
  3. Indiana: 4,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2022:

  1. Louisiana: -2,300
  2. Ohio: -1,900
  3. Minnesota: -1,000
