According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2002:

  1. Alaska: 200
  2. Minnesota: 200
  3. Arkansas: 100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2002:

  1. California: -17,200
  2. New Jersey: -4,000
  3. Texas: -3,300
