According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2002:

  1. California: 8,000
  2. New York: 2,200
  3. New Jersey: 1,500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2002:

  1. Georgia: -2,100
  2. Texas: -700
  3. Illinois: -500
