According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2003:

  1. California: 6,700
  2. New York: 4,100
  3. Missouri: 500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2003:

  1. Georgia: -1,100
  2. Minnesota: -800
  3. Texas: -700
