According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2003:

  1. California: 10,500
  2. New York: 2,400
  3. Tennessee: 700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2003:

  1. Pennsylvania: -1,400
