According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2005:

  1. New York: 4,200
  2. Texas: 1,600
  3. Georgia: 1,400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2005:

  1. Nevada: -700
  2. New Mexico: -400
  3. Hawaii: -400
