According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2007:

  1. California: 4,500
  2. New Mexico: 1,200
  3. New Jersey: 800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2007:

  1. Ohio: -600
  2. Louisiana: -500
  3. Kansas: -400
