According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2007:

  1. California: 5,400
  2. New York: 2,600
  3. Connecticut: 1,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2007:

  1. Massachusetts: -300
  2. New Jersey: -200
  3. Louisiana: -200
