According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2008:

  1. Massachusetts: 1,300
  2. Connecticut: 600
  3. Ohio: 400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2008:

  1. New York: -1,400
  2. New Jersey: -1,400
  3. Florida: -1,200
