According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2008:

  1. California: 10,000
  2. New York: 1,900
  3. Louisiana: 1,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2008:

  1. Missouri: -300
  2. Minnesota: -200
  3. Ohio: -100
