According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2008:
- California: 3,300
- New York: 3,300
- Louisiana: 900

- Nevada: -700
- Maryland: -600
- Florida: -500
