According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2009:

  1. Indiana: 400
  2. Arizona: 300
  3. Louisiana: 300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2009:

  1. California: -1,800
  2. Florida: -800
  3. Kansas: -500
