According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2010:

  1. California: 6,000
  2. New York: 1,700
  3. Massachusetts: 1,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2010:

  1. Hawaii: -600
  2. Georgia: -500
  3. Iowa: -400
