According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2011:

  1. California: 1,700
  2. Louisiana: 1,600
  3. New York: 1,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2011:

  1. Ohio: -400
  2. Colorado: -400
  3. Oklahoma: -200
