According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2013:

  1. California: 3,100
  2. New York: 1,600
  3. Louisiana: 1,500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2013:

  1. Illinois: -400
  2. Oklahoma: -100
  3. North Dakota: -100
