According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in January, 2013:

  1. Michigan: 400
  2. Connecticut: 100
  3. Mississippi: 100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in January, 2013:

  1. California: -11,000
  2. New York: -7,800
  3. Georgia: -2,100
