According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2013:

  1. Hawaii: 1,600
  2. Georgia: 700
  3. Minnesota: 500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2013:

  1. Louisiana: -2,500
  2. California: -2,100
  3. Illinois: -1,100
