According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2016:

  1. California: 8,300
  2. Georgia: 1,900
  3. New Mexico: 1,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2016:

  1. Illinois: -400
  2. Michigan: -200
  3. Louisiana: -200
