According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2016:

  1. California: 4,900
  2. Florida: 700
  3. North Carolina: 700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2016:

  1. New York: -11,500
  2. New Jersey: -4,200
  3. Massachusetts: -3,100
