According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2017:

  1. Georgia: 900
  2. Nevada: 800
  3. New Mexico: 800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2017:

  1. New York: -2,400
  2. Illinois: -1,800
  3. California: -1,200
