According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2002:

  1. California: 26,800
  2. New York: 20,200
  3. Pennsylvania: 17,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2002:

  1. Vermont: -4,200
  2. Colorado: -900
  3. Utah: -200
