According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2002:

  1. Colorado: 12,500
  2. California: 10,400
  3. Florida: 9,500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2002:

  1. Missouri: -4,500
  2. Maryland: -3,100
  3. Kentucky: -3,100
