According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2002:

  1. Maine: 9,700
  2. New York: 9,600
  3. Wisconsin: 7,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2002:

  1. Florida: -21,300
  2. Georgia: -14,200
  3. California: -9,100
